Up till now his earnings from the first five Potter films had been held in a trust fund which he has not been able to touch.

Despite his growing fame and riches he is known to have kept his feet firmly on the ground. He celebrated his 18th birthday by watching Lords Test cricket between India and England. He refused the offer of a private box at Lords and watched the game with his friends in the stands.
